Get to Know Ellen:
Ellen Brandom received both Bachelor of Science and Master degrees from the University of Missouri – Columbia where she graduated with honors. After graduation, Ellen acquired valuable experience while working in governmental public service.

After her marriage to Rick Brandom, Ellen and her husband owned and operated a petroleum distributing company for over thirty years. In managing a successful small business, Ellen learned the importance of common sense legislation to promote the small business environment in Missouri's rural communities. She has been active in the Sikeston Area Chamber of Commerce and currently serves on the Sikeston Miner Board of Tourism. In Sikeston Ellen has worked hard to promote quality education for Southeast Missouri. She served four terms on the Sikeston R-6 Board of Education and worked to establish Sikeston's Higher Education Center. Currently, Ellen is a member of Southeast Missouri State University Foundation and serves as treasurer of the Sikeston Public Schools Foundation.

Ellen also knows the importance of faith and values. Ellen is a Pro-Life Christian and is a member of First United Methodist Church where she has chaired the Children's Weekday Ministry program and served on the church finance committee. Also, she has served on the Church Council and as a trustee. As a widowed mother of two children, and the proud grandmother of Trevor and Trey, Ellen shares the family values of rural Missouri. And will work had in the legislature to protect them.
